The International Porphyrias Symposium 2023: Advancing the Science and Art
Hyatt Regency Bethesda
Bethesda, Maryland
Thursday – Sunday, October 26-29, 2023
IMPORTANT DATES
With a focus on recent research findings in heme biosynthesis and advances in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of the porphyrias, The Porphyrias Symposium 2023 will be held October 26-29, 2023, in Bethesda, Maryland. The program will feature US and international experts who will describe the clinical manifestations of each porphyria and the latest advances in their diagnosis, management, and treatment, including newly approved and emerging therapies. Patients with each of the major porphyrias will be interviewed to provide important patient perspectives. In addition, a concurrent session will be held for patients on Sunday, October 29, 2023.
This symposium is designed for physicians, especially hematologists, gastroenterologists, dermatologists, neurologists, geneticists, and emergency medicine practitioners, as well as researchers, predoctoral and postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty who are interested in heme biosynthesis and the porphyrias. We anticipate that over 125 individuals will attend this meeting.
We look forward to your participation in this important symposium.
