Dr. Hetanshi Naik is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Genetics at the Stanford University School of Medicine. She is a genetic counselor and clinical researcher who has been involved in the porphyrias since 2010.

Her research interests include developing clinical trial methodologies that are both scientifically rigorous and feasible in the rare disease setting, understanding the long-term psychosocial issues patients with rare diseases face, and Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROs) for rare diseases.
